Why the name RUNICO?
Our unique heritage is in our name — blending“run”in English with“unico,”meaning“unique”in Italian, honoring our creation in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.

In a world increasingly influenced by AI — even in running — we're here to prioritize human connection and we believe that running has the power to help us unlock unique journeys of growth.
My reason to run unique?
Running turned my life around. It gave me discipline, freedom, calm — and a healthier direction. After nearly 25 years in the corporate world, I knew it was time to give back to running and build something that reflects my values.
Ultimately I want to:
1) Help people to start and continue running
2) Help people to perform at running and achieve their goals
3) Help people to leverage running to improve their quality of life
4) Build something that gives me purpose and enables me to never retire
